Swine Fever Outbreak Confirmed in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan
An outbreak of Classical Swine Fever (CSF), also known as hog cholera, has been confirmed at a pig farm in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries held an emergency meeting to discuss and implement countermeasures, urging local and surrounding prefectures to enhance infection control.
