India's Model Bilateral Investment Treaty to Prioritize Protecting Domestic FDI

India's Economic Affairs Secretary Anuradha Thakur announced that a new Model Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) will soon be sent to the Cabinet. A key new dimension of this treaty is the protection of Indian companies' Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
