11 Hospitalized After Dead Lizard Found in Birthday Cake in Maharashtra

Eleven people, including seven children, were hospitalized in Maharashtra after consuming a birthday cake found to contain a dead lizard. Three of the victims are reportedly in the ICU following the incident near Mumbai.

Eleven individuals suffered suspected food poisoning after consuming a birthday cake. Three children are currently in the intensive care unit receiving treatment. The children reported finding a dead lizard inside the cake they ate. Police have seized cake samples from Chamunda Cake Shop for testing. All patients are reported to be in stable condition at the hospital.
