Salem rallies past Kellam in double overtime thriller

The Region Class 5 quarterfinal delivered a thriller Tuesday night as Salem outlasted Kellam 62-60 in double overtime to advance to the semifinals. Kellam found its rhythm first, taking control early behind MJ Fitch, who scored 10 of his team-high 25 points in the first half, including two 3-pointers. Trey Barnhart added 20 points, and the duo combined for 41 while scoring at all three levels.
