Amazon Web Services Athens Local Zone to Launch in July, Following PM Mitsotakis' Meeting

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is scheduled to activate its Athens Local Zone in July 2026, providing local storage and low-latency performance. This follows Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' meeting with Amazon Senior Vice President Panay, where new investments in Greece, including the AWS Local Zone, and future Greek language support for Kindle and Alexa were discussed.
