Casas Bahia Files for Bankruptcy on High Rates, Tight Credit

Grupo Casas Bahia SA filed for bankruptcy protection in Sao Paulo, after an out-of-court debt restructuring with its main creditors proved insufficient to resolve its financial troubles.
