Talisay, Batangas heat index hits 41°C ; extreme caution advised

LUCENA CITY — Authorities in Talisay, Batangas on Sunday advised residents to take extra precautions after the town’s heat index reached the extreme caution level at 41°C. The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) said that the advisory is based on the monitoring of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
