Police Operations Detect Widespread Speeding Offences
Police forces in Ireland and other regions conducted operations that detected over 1,200 drivers for speeding offences, with some individuals arrested for extremely high speeds and driving under the influence. Separately, an Irish Garda received 17 speeding fines while responding to critical incidents.
