Bay FC signs Italy captain Cristiana Girelli on loan from Juventus

Bay FC have signed Italian striker Cristiana Girelli from Juventus, the reigning champions of the women’s Serie A Femminile, the club announced Friday. Girelli, 35, will join the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club San Jose, Calif. through August, pending receipt of her P-1 visa and international transfer clearance.
