Latvian tennis player Aļona Ostapenko reached the third round of the singles competition at the Indian Wells "WTA 1000" tournament in the USA on Saturday.

Latvijas tenisiste Aļona Ostapenko sestdien ASV sasniedza Indianvelsas "WTA 1000" turnīra vienspēļu sacensību trešo kārtu. Otrās kārtas mačā Ostapenko, kura Sieviešu tenisa asociācijas (WTA) rangā ieņem 26. vietu un ar šo numuru izsēta arī turnīrā, ar 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) pārspēja amerikānieti Keitiju Volinecu (WTA 98.).
