Teenagers Bomb Soviet Monument in Tallinn, 1944
In autumn 1944, two Estonian teenagers, aged 14 and 15, reportedly blew up a Soviet monument in central Tallinn. This act occurred as Soviet authorities re-established control over Estonia and sought to dismantle ideological symbols of the previous regime.
