Angola and Mozambique Opt Out of Portuguese Orthographic Agreement

Angola and Mozambique have decided not to adopt the Portuguese Orthographic Agreement, citing implementation costs and the unique characteristics of local Portuguese as reasons. Less than five percent of the Guinean population reportedly speaks Portuguese.
