Lifesaving Prison Fire Safety Work to Be Completed by Early 2030s

Prison chiefs have admitted that fire safety work, crucial for saving lives, will not be completed until the early 2030s, with 19,000 prisoners still held in cells that do not meet legal fire safety standards.
