Japan's Agricultural and Food Exports Reach Record High for First Half of Year
Japan's exports of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, along with food, reached a record 897.7 billion yen for the first half of the year, marking the second consecutive year of record-high figures. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries attributes this to increased interest in Japanese food, including a boom in matcha green tea.
