Half of Europeans Don't Use Public Transport; Portugal Among Lowest Users

Half of all Europeans do not use public transport, with Portugal ranking among the top three EU countries with the lowest usage rate, as 68% of its population did not use public transport in 2024. Cyprus had the highest non-usage rate at 85%.
