Chrudim Successfully Reduces Rat Population by 90%

The Czech city of Chrudim has reported a 90% decrease in rat activity following repeated deratization efforts and a revised strategy. Local authorities had previously struggled with an overpopulation of rodents.

Změna strategie proti potkanům v Chrudimi zabrala. Alespoň podle dat z radnice, která kvůli přemnoženým hlodavcům v posledních letech několikrát opakovala plošnou deratizaci. Výraznější úspěch ale nakonec zajistil trochu jiný postup. Chrudim nasadila mimořádné termíny hubení a zabrala metoda pulzní deratizace.
