Consumer Body Orders Payout After Botched Kidney Surgery Death
India's apex consumer body has ordered a significant payout to the family of a woman who died two years after a botched surgery mistakenly removed her healthy kidney instead of the diseased one. The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission awarded compensation for medical negligence.
