Finland Customs reports record drug seizures in 2025

Finnish Customs seized 2,574 kilos of illegal drugs in 2025. The total stood more than 500 kilos above the year before, despite a fall in recorded narcotics offences. Officers also intercepted record levels of cocaine and drug medicines. The agency identified 147 intoxicating substances during the year and uncovered new synthetic opioids in tablet form. Authorities said organised smuggling remained active.
