Czech Republic braces for extreme heatwave

The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute has issued a warning for extreme heat, with temperatures expected to reach up to 33 degrees Celsius in parts of Prague, central and northwestern Bohemia, Plzeň, and South Moravia.

Nejvyšší odpolední teploty v Praze, v části středních a severozápadních Čech, na Plzeňsku a jižní Moravě v úterý překročí 31 stupňů Celsia, výjimečně mohou dosáhnout až 33 stupňů. V aktuální výstraze o tom v pondělí informoval Český hydrometeorologický ústav (ČHMÚ). Tropické teploty vydrží na jihu Moravy i ve středu.
