Controversy Over Secrecy of Asset Declarations in Romania
A draft law on integrity sent by the Ministry of Justice to Parliament in Romania no longer includes the mandatory publication of new asset declarations. An amendment introduced by UDMR, which threatened to withdraw support if their request was not accepted, is cited as the reason.
