From NASA intern to tragic end: Maharashtra student dies in US months after road crash

A promising Indian student, Nilam Shinde, pursuing her MS in engineering in California, tragically passed away after being hit by a speeding vehicle. Despite her father's visa struggles and her comatose state, Nilam's organs were donated with his consent. Her funeral was held in California following Hindu rituals.
