High Layoff Numbers Concern Swedish Job Market Despite Falling Unemployment

Despite a slow month-on-month decrease in unemployment, which is now the lowest since early 2023/2024, the Swedish job market is facing concern over an alarmingly high number of layoffs, according to new statistics from the Public Employment Service.
