Günter Pichler, Founder of Alban Berg Quartet, Dies at 85

Günter Pichler, the Tyrolean-born founder of the renowned Alban Berg Quartet, has passed away at the age of 85. He led the string ensemble until its dissolution in 2008 and was also a concertmaster for the Symphoniker and Philharmoniker.
