Mexico Unveils Plan for 70% Renewable Energy by 2030

Mexico's Energy Minister Luz Elena González presented a plan to add 32,475 megawatts of generation capacity to the national grid by 2030. Approximately 70% of this new capacity, or 22,000 megawatts, is projected to come from renewable sources, primarily solar and wind.
