IndyCar and NASCAR partner for a desert doubleheader as both series enjoy strong starts to season

Pato O'Ward wasn't sold on the motorsports doubleheader this weekend at Phoenix Raceway because the IndyCar driver doesn't like being “the support series” to NASCAR. Then he saw the television rating — 3.9 million viewers on Fox Sports for last week's NASCAR race — and changed his mind. “I stand corrected, I'm so happy to be here with NASCAR this weekend,” the Mexican wrote on social media.
