13-Year-Old Student Stabs Teacher in Italian School

A 13-year-old student stabbed a teacher in the neck at an Italian school, reportedly wearing a 'Revenge' shirt and carrying a blank pistol. The teacher's life is not in danger, and the student, being under 14, will not be held criminally responsible.

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 25 - A 57-year-old female teacher is in a critical condition in hospital in Bergamo after being stabbed outside a school in the nearby town of Trescore Balneario early on Wednesday, reportedly by a pupil, sources said. The woman, a foreign-language teacher, was taken to hospital by a helicopter air ambulance. The suspect is a 13-year-old eighth-grade student, the sources said.
