Gunma Ueno Village Forest Fire Spreads, No End in Sight
A forest fire that broke out in Ueno Village, Gunma Prefecture, on the 21st has expanded, and there is currently no prospect of extinguishing it. Evacuation advisories remain in effect for nearby residents, and aerial firefighting resumed on the 22nd.
