Nine bodies, including three guides and a group of six friends, were recovered from an avalanche on Castle Peak in the Sierra Nevada mountains, where they were on a three-day ski tour.

Z gore Castle Peak v gorovju Sierra Nevade v ZDA so iz snežnega plazu izvlekli devet trupel. Žrtve, med katerimi so trije vodniki in skupina šestih prijateljic, so bile del skupine, ki se je odpravila na tridnevno turno smuko. Še šest članov skupine so uspeli rešiti.
