Renowned composer Ilaiyaraaja reduced his fee from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50,000 for the film 'Adharvam,' which cost Rs 22 lakh to make, because he admired Mammootty’s 'New Delhi,' composing its four songs in just 30 minutes.
