Japan's MEXT and MLIT Hold Joint Meeting on Bus Accident Measures

Following a fatal bus accident involving high school students on an expedition in Fukushima Prefecture, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) held a joint meeting. They plan to formulate guidelines for schools and bus operators by the end of next month.
