‘Very weak’ minor phreatic eruption recorded at Taal Volcano – Phivolcs

MANILA, Philippines — A “very weak” minor phreatic eruption was recorded at Taal Volcano on Tuesday evening, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs). According to Phivolcs in a time-lapse footage posted in its social media pages, the phreatic eruption was recorded at Taal Volcano’s main crater between 7:10 p.m. and 7:11 p.m.
