Japanese Government Pushes for Budget Approval, Opposition Demands More Deliberation
The Japanese government and ruling party are aiming for the new fiscal year budget to pass within the current fiscal year, while also preparing a provisional budget for contingencies. The opposition, however, is calling for more thorough deliberation, not bound by the fiscal year-end deadline.
