Latvia Warns of Early and Active Tick Season After Mild Winter
Latvian specialists are urging increased caution as the active tick season has begun earlier than usual, attributed to a mild winter. The number of tick-borne disease cases has been rising in recent years, with 12 ticks already removed at Jēkabpils Regional Hospital this year.
