Assam woman dragged out of car, gang-raped in front of fiance
A 28-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped on the Ramnagar bypass road in Silchar after her fiancé was restrained by a group of youths. The incident occurred on February 19, with police registering a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. One accused has been arrested, and efforts are underway to apprehend others.
