Karnataka: Couple ends lives after domestic dispute; toddler survives ‘murder’ bid by father

A young couple in Mandya allegedly died by suicide after a domestic dispute, leaving their two-year-old daughter to survive a murder attempt by her father. The incident, which occurred early Monday, saw the wife hang herself, followed by the husband's attempt to strangle their child before taking his own life. The child, thankfully, regained consciousness and is safe.
