Azores to Host Europe's First Space Vehicle Re-entry

The Azores will be the site for Europe's first space vehicle re-entry, with Portugal issuing the first European license for a capsule to land. The Phoenix 2.1 capsule from Atmos is expected to land off Santa Maria island in the second half of 2026.
