RTV Subscription Exemption for Some Polish Pensioners Not Automatic

Not all pensioners in Poland are required to pay the RTV subscription fee; those over 60 receiving a pension not exceeding 4451.78 PLN gross monthly can be exempt, but the relief is not granted automatically.

Nie wszyscy emeryci muszą płacić abonament RTV. Ze zwolnienia mogą skorzystać osoby, które ukończyły 60 lat i pobierają emeryturę nieprzekraczającą 4451,78 zł brutto miesięcznie. Trzeba jednak pamiętać, że ulga nie jest przyznawana automatycznie i wymaga dopełnienia formalności.
