Portuguese Emergency Service Considers Ending Night Flights for Patient Transport
Portugal's INEM (National Institute of Medical Emergency) is reportedly considering a new management model that would discontinue night flights for patient transport, which currently account for less than 20% of all helicopter flights. The INEM assures that VMER (Medical Emergency and Resuscitation Vehicles) would cover these transports.
