Malaysia Explores Agentic AI to Combat Harmful Online Content

Malaysian Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil stated that Putrajaya is investigating the use of agentic AI to address the overwhelming volume of harmful online content. The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) currently faces a workload equivalent to 19.7 years.
