Karlovy Vary region to use convicts for crisis assistance
The Karlovy Vary regional government is preparing to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the prison service, which has offered to utilize convicts for assistance during crises such as floods or fires. Approximately 100 out of 2,700 prisoners could be involved in these efforts.
