Lithuania's Flexible Energy Capacity Needs to Grow by 3 GW by 2035

A report by Litgrid, Lithuania's electricity transmission system operator, indicates that the country will require nearly 3 gigawatts more of flexible electricity generation capacity by 2035. This increase is driven by the expansion of wind and solar power plants and rising electricity consumption.
