Japanese Prosecutor Investigated for Inappropriate Relationship with Interrogated Woman

A male prosecutor who was part of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office's special investigation unit is under investigation for an inappropriate relationship with a woman he interrogated. It is believed the relationship began before her criminal proceedings concluded, and the Supreme Public Prosecutors Office is considering disciplinary action.
