Podgorica Police Launch 'Beggar' Operation Against Forced Begging

Podgorica police have launched an operation codenamed "Prosjak" (Beggar) aimed at preventing, detecting, and suppressing begging, including forced begging which is a form of human trafficking. The operation led to the arrest of several foreign nationals.

U saopštenju Uprave policije (UP) se navodi da su podgorički policajci sproveli akciju kodnog naziva "Prosjak", usmjerenu na prevenciju, otkrivanje i suzbijanje prosjačenja, kao i suzbijanje prisilnog prosjačenja koja predstavlja oblik trgovine ljudima, sa posebnim fokusom na identifikaciju potencijalnih žrtava ovog vida nezakonitog ponašanja
