Switzerland Pays Half a Billion Francs in Advance for F-35 Jets

Switzerland is paying nearly 500 million Swiss francs earlier than requested by the USA for F-35 jets, after initially halting payments. The head of armaments, Urs Loher, stated that the risk was too great, both for the F-35 project itself and for F/A-18 spare parts.
