Icelandic Prosecutor Denies Appeal in Defamation Case, Defendant Threatens to Sue State
The public prosecutor has denied Margrét McArthur Friðriksdóttir permission to appeal a district court ruling where she was fined 200,000 ISK for defaming Barböru Björnsdóttur. Friðriksdóttir now threatens to sue the Icelandic state.
