The GBA and BDA are set to draft a separate Revised Master Plan for Bengaluru, with the new draft not expected until 2027, twelve years after the last one was due.

The new draft is only expected in 2027, which will be 12 years after the last Revised Master Plan was due. The master plan in force was drafted in 2005.
