Japan Raises Mandatory Employment Rate for Persons with Disabilities to 2.7%
Japan has increased the mandatory employment rate for persons with disabilities for companies to 2.7% starting April 1st. Despite this, only 46% of companies met the previous rate last year, prompting the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to enhance support for employment and job retention.
