Glacier Melt Uncovers Tons of Waste in Austrian Alps
More than two tons of waste, including a significant amount of aluminum cans, have been collected from the Pasterze and Bockkargletscher glaciers in the Austrian Alps due to melting ice. An estimated 5,000 kilograms of trash are believed to remain on the mountains.
