57 Cretan Farmers Sentenced for Illegally Claiming EU Subsidies
An Athens court has imposed prison sentences of one to three years and fines ranging from 500 to 8,000 euros on 57 farmers from Crete, who were found guilty of illegally receiving European subsidies through OPEKEPE.
