Latvia's Reduced VAT on Food Shows Price Drop, Lithuania Considers Similar Move
Latvia implemented a reduced VAT on bread, milk, eggs, and poultry on July 1st, resulting in a 7-8% price decrease in retail. Lithuania is now considering whether to adopt a similar economic policy.
